A complete instrumentation set for PET preform and bottle manufacturers — from resin verification to preform dimensional, thermal and drop-impact QC — supplied and supported from Mumbai.
PET preform and bottle quality is driven by resin IV, drying, moisture, density, wall thickness distribution and impact strength. A drop in any one of these shows up as haze, poor top load, cracked bases or stress-cracked bottles in service.
International Equipments supplies the complete instrumentation for a PET line — from checking incoming resin moisture and density before drying, through preform dimensional and thermal checks, to finished-bottle top-load and drop-impact testing. Everything is manufactured in Mumbai to ASTM and ISO standards, CE marked and supplied with a calibration certificate.
Each card links to the machine that runs the test.
Verify PET resin density and specific gravity before drying, and detect filler / regrind contamination.
Confirm PET is dry (typically <50 ppm) before injection — critical to prevent IV drop, haze and weak bottles.
Check the opacity of coloured or UV-grade PET compounds against your specification.
Tensile strength, elongation and modulus of PET compounds, preforms and stretched-bottle wall samples.
Measure preform and bottle wall thickness with a fine-resolution digital micrometer.
Compression strength of empty PET bottles under the UTM in top-load configuration — packaging-line QC.
Condition preforms and bottles at controlled temperature before test, and run heat-ageing studies.
Percentage of ash in PET compounds and colour masterbatches at high temperature.
PET tests generally follow ASTM D792 / ISO 1183 (density), ASTM D638 / ISO 527 (tensile), ASTM D6988 (wall thickness), ASTM D5423 / D618 (conditioning) and ASTM D5630 (ash). Additional in-house methods cover moisture (loss-on-drying) and opacity. Every International Equipments instrument is calibrated and supplied with a traceable certificate.
