India — exported worldwide
Overview

From resin to sealed pouch — the full test set

Flexible packaging quality is set by film strength, thickness uniformity, surface friction, dart impact toughness and seal integrity. A weak point in any of these shows up as tearing, jams on the filling line or leaking pouches at the customer.

This solution covers the complete test range for laminate film, printed film and finished pouches — starting with resin MFI and moving through tensile, COF, dart impact, heat seal and pouch peel. All instruments manufactured in Mumbai to ASTM and ISO methods, CE marked and calibration-certified.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between dart impact and pendulum impact for film?
Dart impact (ASTM D1709) drops a weighted dart onto a clamped film — it measures toughness against a sudden blow. Pendulum impact tests notched rigid specimens and doesn't suit thin film.
Why is COF so important for filling lines?
Coefficient of friction determines how film feeds through form-fill-seal machines and how packs stack on pallets. Drift in slip / anti-block additives shows up first as line jams or stacking failures.
How do I find my optimum seal window?
Use the heat sealer to make seals across a range of temperatures, pressures and dwells; then peel each on the peel tester and plot seal strength vs temperature. The plateau is your window.
Do you supply the whole lab as one order?
Yes — flexible-packaging labs are among our most-shipped complete solutions worldwide, delivered together with installation, training and calibration certificates.
