A halogen moisture analyser that measures the moisture content of plastic resins and granules by loss-on-drying — infrared halogen heating with EMFC weighing, reading percentage moisture directly.
Hygroscopic resins such as nylon, PET and polycarbonate absorb moisture that, if not removed before processing, causes splay, voids, bubbles and weak parts. A moisture analyser measures the moisture content directly so operators know whether resin is dry enough to run.
International Equipments builds a halogen moisture analyser that heats a sample with an infrared halogen tube while an EMFC balance tracks weight loss, reporting the moisture percentage in minutes on an LCD, with 50-test storage and an RS232 interface. Manufactured in Mumbai, CE marked and calibration-certified.
